DANCE IN THE HILLS is a collective of Conscious Dancers exploring Movement as Medicine, led by Jo Woods - Open Floor Teacher & Producer DITH is located in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges and has been running since 2014. Dance in the Hills offers us an opportunity to connect authentically with our embodied selves, the spirit of the land, and a nourishing, supportive community. Each class includes lightly facilitated movement explorations to help support you with a deepening awareness of what it means to be a fully embodied human being. Age 16 and over. No prior movement experience required. Curious & Respectful minds expected. LGBTQIA+ & CALD safe space. Wheelchair access available. DHARMA DANCE is a seamless & exquisite fusion of Zen mindfulness practice & Open Floor dance w/ Jo Woods & Aladdin Jones. You can expect Wild Dharma wisdom, guided sitting & walking Zen meditation, that then unfolds into the aliveness of Open Floor dance.
